Return Policy

At Studio Batik Batik, every piece is handmade with care in close collaboration with small family businesses in Indonesia. We ask you to be mindful when placing and returning orders. Unnecessary returns have an environmental impact and can be especially challenging for a small, growing brand like ours. Thank you for handling our pieces with care and intention 💚

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of purchase, as long as the item is unused, in original condition, and the tag label is still attached. Please send your return request by email within this time.

Handmade products
Please note, small differences in color, pattern, or shape are part of the character of real, handmade Batik. You are purchasing a handcrafted product, not a machine-made one. Therefore, these differences are not considered defects or reasons for return. 

To request a return, please email studiobatikbatik@gmail.com with:

  1. Your order number

  2. The reason for your return

We will review your request and get back to you with the next steps.

Return Shipping

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
• We recommend using a tracked and secure shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost returns.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
If an item is confirmed faulty, a full refund will be provided.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at studiobatikbatik@gmail.com

Include your order number and clear photos so we can assist you as quickly as possible.

Customs & Refused Shipments
International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes. These charges are set by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the customer.

If you choose to refuse these fees and the parcel is returned to us, we will refund the item price minus any return shipping costs and carrier or customs charges.

If the parcel is not returned to us (for example, if it is abandoned), we cannot issue a refund.
