A classic Javanese Batik motif from Surakarta (Solo), created by Queen Kencana. The small star- or jasmine-like shapes symbolise unconditional love that continues to bloom and lifelong care and guidance. Traditionally, the motif is worn by parents at Javanese weddings as a sign of guidance and support for the couple.
